The Institute

The Institute for Cancer Genetics and Informatics (ICGI) is a department within the Division of Cancer Medicine at Oslo University Hospital (OUS), located at the Oslo Cancer Cluster Innovation Park next to the Norwegian Radium Hospital in the Norwegian capitol.

Our Organization

We have a multifunctional team structure, a matrix organization. Among our 80 employees are computer scientists, surgeons, pathologists, professors, PhD-students, technicians, system developers, health economists and bio-engineers.

Institute Overview

The ICGI develops methods for cancer treatment based on artificial intelligence. Our innovation strategy is focused on digital image analysis. Our goal is to enable better cancer treatment through diagnostics based on artificial intelligence (AI).
